Annual award recognizes exemplary ethics, compliance, and risk management initiatives
PORTLAND, Ore.—May 2, 2024 – NAVEX, the global leader in integrated risk and compliance management software, today announced nominations are officially open for the fourth annual and newly named NAVEX Excellence Awards! This distinguished honor celebrates the achievements of NAVEX customers in their ethics, compliance and integrated risk management programs. The nomination period will remain open until July 19, 2024.
Past recipients of the NAVEX Excellence Awards include Stellantis N.V., ABM Industries, Axis Health System, CannonDesign and Diageo plc. Starting today, NAVEX customers can submit their entry via the NAVEX Excellence Award website.

The Excellence Awards celebrate exceptional program achievements among NAVEX’s 13,000 global clients, representing 70 million employees. Entries are grouped by company size and region and evaluated across three distinct categories.
- Ethics & Compliance – Recognizes organizations that embody ethical excellence and serve as a source of inspiration for others. These organizations go beyond adherence to regulations and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to actively promote ethical behavior throughout their operations.
- Risk Management – Celebrates a NAVEX customer that demonstrates exceptional proficiency in risk management, supported by a comprehensive risk management framework to comprehensively identify and mitigate business risk.
- Risk & Compliance Program of the Year – Awarded for outstanding achievement, the program of the year award recognizes a NAVEX customer that demonstrates comprehensive governance, risk and compliance as illustrated by its commitment to risk management across business functions to serve the business and its stakeholders.
Like previous years, a distinguished panel of judges, comprised of industry leaders, will select the winners. This year’s judges include, Vera Cherepanova, Studio Etica; Matt Kelly, Radical Compliance; William Cameron, Cameron Advisory Services; Carol Williams, Strategic Decision Solutions; Kyle Brasseur, Compliance Week; Barbara Boehler, Fordham; along with NAVEX judges Kyle Martin, vice president, GRC Solutions; Steve Chapman, chief customer officer; and Carrie Penman, chief risk & compliance officer.
